#IMadeIt - Easy Halloween Home Decor with your Cricut Explore...and TWO Giveaways!

Home Decor with Cricut Explore - ha!  I rhyme.  ;)  As some of you know I am incredibly fortunate and get to be an on-air guest for Cricut on HSN (and I'll be on air this Wednesday - more about that later).  I have had SO much fun creating projects - and when I saw these special glittered frames from Hobby Lobby (use your coupon!) I felt some Halloween home decor coming on!

These were ridiculously easy to make - I created them using some old Bazzill patterned paper, my Xyron Mega Runner and Xyron 5" Creative Station, and the following Cricut Images (all of which can be purchased individually for .99 each in the Cricut Explore Design Space):
Happy Halloween text - A Frightful Affair
Bats - Teresa Collins Chic & Scary
Witch - Celebrate with Flourish

I created a quick video tutorial for this project for Xyron - these framed beauties literally took me less than 20 minutes to make!

Been thinking about the Cricut Explore but looking for more info and/or a great deal?  Don't forget to tune in to HSN on Wednesday where there will be TWO amazing deals on Explore bundles - (one from me and one from my friend Anna Griffin).  We'll have in-depth presentations so you will have a chance to see the machines in action and take advantage of some special HSN birthday pricing.  If you want specific times/product info be sure to like my Facebook Page where I will be sharing all the info later this week.  We'd love to have you join us!

I'm also participating in Cricut's new #IMadeIt campaign - Cricut is giving away a Cricut Explore machine every day for 50 days!  To enter simply post a project you've created on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by hashtagging #cricut and #IMadeIt.  If you've already hashtagged #imadeit, simply re-post and add #cricut.  Want more info?  Here are the official rules.

While I may not be giving away a Cricut ;) I am giving away some goodies!  Earlier this summer I had the chance to spend an afternoon with the amazing Lia Griffith at this event in her home (that's me in the red striped shirt in the photo collage). It was an inspiring, fun-filled afternoon and we each left with a goody bag...and I'm giving mine away!  Just leave a comment here on the blog and one lucky winner will receive my goody bag with a few extra goodies thrown in.  I'll announce the winner on my Facebook page on Friday!

And just so you don't think we are getting too fancy with our photo set ups around here (I've been trying to improve my photography...and still have a ways to go) - I give you my husband Don hunched over on top of my studio table trying to take these photos.  You are welcome.  :)

    1. Denise - they come that way! I found them on an end cap at Hobby Lobby back in the framing department...I hadn't seen them there before so snatched them up right away. ;) They had a couple of other cool colors (and they have them in different sizes) but I loved the black for Halloween.
