Welcome to Day Three of our week-long series in support of Operation Write Home! When We R Memory Keepers invited us to partner with them the Xyron Design Team couldn't have been more excited - they love 'em some cards! Today Van Nguyen and Ann Corbiere-Scott share some gorgeous card ideas with us - and even I got in to the act!
I am always so curious where people get their inspiration - so I'm just going to show you where I got mine! When I received the Anthologie collection from WRMK I have to admit I was a little stumped. I only have boys/men in my life so pastel colors and and swirls and flowers give me a little bit of anxiety. :) Thank goodness for my Pinterest Card Making Board where I'd stored this little gem - the butterflies and wonderful girly colors inspired me to create this card and made me realize that if I can't be girly in my scrapping - I can sure as heck get my fill of butterflies and fabulous patterned paper through card making!
Ann Corbiere-Scott is...well...let's just say it - AWESOME with pastel colors. Clearly. This card just radiates happiness - head on over to her blog for three more sunshine-y fabulous cards!
I LOVE the attention to detail on this card by Van Nguyen, and you will love not only the cards she has created on her blog, but the story behind why this partnership is so near and dear to her heart.
Don't forget to enter the drawing to win some yummy papers/embellishments from WRMK and a 2" Cheetah Runner from Xyron...deadline to enter is midnight on Thursday! Stop on by tomorrow for more great card ideas!
