Introducing new Xyron DT members Jen Goode, Denise Hahn and Marjie Kemper!

Say hello to three more new faces on the Xyron Design Team - Jen Goode, Denise Hahn and Marjie Kemper.  We are so excited to have such a diverse group of talented artists - check out a few of the projects that made them "must have" additions to our team!

Jen Goode is a work-at-home mom of 3 and creative professional, aka the "Doodler in Charge" at JGoode Designs (http://www.JGoodeDesigns.com), a Denver based art and design studio. She had the opportunity to explore art at a very young age which grew with her into her dream career as an artist.  Jen’s creative interests are as varied as there are materials. From handmade mixed-media crafts, fabric and sculpture to Illustration, painting and Digital Design, she enjoys every one. She has had her work published, produced and displayed around country while she continues to share creative ideas from her little desk in the kitchen. She loves all things creative and is always looking to learn something new and create something fun.  Jen strives to inspire this same passion for creativity in all ages as she shares DIY projects ideas, recipes and fun for families on her websites, 100 Directions (http://www.100directions.com) and Projects for Preschoolers (http://www.ProjectsforPreschoolers.com).

Jen's creativity literally runs the gamut. On her blogs you will find everything from jewelry making, kids crafts, card making, altered art, creating her own designs - she brings creativity in to our everyday lives and we just love it!

My name is Denise Hahn and I am a mixed media artist and crafter from Long Beach California. I have always loved creating and I get my creativity from my Mom and Grandmother. They always had elaborately decorated packages under the Christmas tree along with handmade decorations. They also sewed amazing Halloween costumes for us. I was always in awe of what they could create and soon started joining them. But somehow I lost sight of creating and for many years let it slip away. Then I was introduced to scrapbooking from a friend and I have never looked back. I consider myself a crafter of all trades; I do paper crafting, mixed media, altered art, and jewelry. But I am always looking to learn new things. My work has been featured in Jewelry Affaire and Somerset publications, and Romantic Homes. I live in Long Beach, Ca with my husband and our two lovable pit bulls Juno and Pipi. When I am not crafting am playing roller derby (my Derby name is Crafty of course!), biking, and skiing in Colorado.

Denise's intricate detailing and mixture of colors and textures and patterns made us swoon! The tutorials she shares on her blog will help you find your creativity, try new techniques, and create something special. It inspires us to get crafty!

Marjie lives in New York with her husband and two sons.  She has tried all sorts of paper arts over the last 14 years.  She loves art journaling and mixed media projects, as well as traditional scrapping and stamping.  Marjie loves layering color and adding depth and texture to her projects. Home decor, canvases, and 3D projects are some of her favorites. She's a huge fan of spray inks, mists, paints, and stencils.  Marjie has been published in Somerset StudioThe Stampers' SamplerCloth Paper Scissors Gifts, and more.

Marjie's projects practically jumped off of the screen when we first took a look at her blog. Art journaling is such a creative way of expressing yourself, and Marjie's mixed media techniques and use of color sparked a fire in us (and we hope it will in you too)!  We can't wait to see what she creates!

Stay tuned tomorrow as we finish out the week with three more amazing artists - happy Valentine's Day to all!

  1. My friend Jen Goode inspires me every day whether I create anything or not - I love her artwork - she is an incredibly wonderful nice person too - her penguins in particular light up my day of course though her dragonflies are adorable too and near to my heart but her projects for Preschoolers makes me wish I had little kids again because they look like so much fun to do with little ones!
